HOUSTON Dec. 27, (Eureka Midstream) – Together, Eureka Midstream and TransTex Treating raised money to donate gifts and food for local nonprofit charities. The Houston office donated gifts to foster children in association with SEARCH Homeless Services. SEARCH Homeless Services is an interfaith, nonprofit founded in 1989 to respond to the number of people experiencing homelessness in Houston. The Marietta office donated eighty-five gift bags to children in foster care at the annual Washington County Children Services Christmas party, along with a donation to the local food bank. Chris Akers, president of Eureka Midstream, commented on the company’s philosophy of generosity, stating: “We hold true to our values of integrity and respect in helping those in need. Homelessness and hunger are causes we care about. Giving brings us closer to the community, and helps make the holidays a little easier for those who are less fortunate.”
