Josh Smith is the Director of Construction for TransTex Treating, LLC. He manages and is accountable for all aspects of project management, purchasing, construction, and day to day operations at TransTex’s facility in Hallettsville, TX. Josh oversees the building and refurbishing of TransTex’s fleet of existing and new amine plants along with their diverse fleet of dehydration units, JT skids, and natural gas coolers. Josh also manages, budgets, coordinates, and executes all TransTex Treating’s various installations and demobilizations throughout the country.
After earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University in 2006, Josh worked for an industrial engineering & valuation firm in Houston for four years, where he gained valuable project management and valuation skills working in various petrochemical and industrial plants. He joined TransTex Treating in 2011 as a Project Manager for then TransTex Gas Services and has been a key contributor to the tremendous growth TransTex has experienced over the years. Josh was promoted to Director of Construction in May of 2014. He strives for company success and quality driven products and projects for TransTex’s customers. He is an active member in The Association of Former Students and The 12th Man Foundation at Texas A&M University and is also an active member in Gas Processors Association (GPA).
