Solid Media Vessel – Howard County, TX

TransTex Treating discovered a customer in need of a low pressure solution to remove ~50 PPM of H2S from up to 20 MMSCFD at <80 PSIG. Before reaching out, our customer had already researched alternative options, such as liquid scavenger, and concluded that solid media was the most cost effective. Since the equipment was expected to be permanent and pressures were tightly regulated by their upstream line, TransTex proposed to fabricate a new, low pressure vessel designed specifically for our customers needs. By fabricating a thinner walled, low pressure 120” ID vessel, we were able to greatly reduce weight, costs, and fabrication schedule.  For specific projects such as this TransTex, sold the vessel to our customer who then installed and commissioned. All New-Fab equipment includes documentation and is guaranteed to be free of defects and warranted for a period of 12 months from installation or 18 months from purchase.
